3d model of a Boeing 747-8 wide-body elongated aircraft in 1:144 scale for 3D printing. Developed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes, it is the largest modification of the 747 model of its kind. After the release of the 747-400 model, the company considered larger versions of the 747 series as an alternative to the Airbus A380.

The 747-8 airliner was launched on November 14, 2005. The first 747-8F Freighter made its maiden flight on February 8, 2010, and the passenger 747-8 Intercontinental followed suit on March 20, 2011. The cargo version was first delivered in October 2011, and commercial flights of the aircraft began in June 2012. Production of the 747 ended in December 2022, and the last 747-8F will be delivered to Atlas Air in early 2023.
